Devon is an experienced and well-respected environmental and waste management consultant in Yukon. Over the last 15 years, Devon has established himself as a Yukon leader in waste management research.  His master’s thesis research studied the occurrence and fate of pharmaceuticals and personal care products on the nesting bird population at the Whitehorse sewage lagoon. Over the last five years, Devon has been developing small-scale waste-to-energy technology in Yukon and is currently spearheading a closed-loop waste management project integrating biodigester and gasification technologies. 

Devon is a regulatory and permitting specialist with a decade of experience preparing environmental impact assessments and water license applications, among other environmental permits. Devon has a broad range of environmental and waste management expertise including solid waste management, environmental management and monitoring, wildlife and fisheries baseline studies, pre-clearing nesting bird surveys, surface and groundwater monitoring, wastewater and biosolids sampling, and technical writing and analysis.
